Green Arrow a.k.a. Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) is sure to be getting his hands full in "Arrow" season 6, as the upcoming season will bear witness to the return of the Black Canary (Juliana Harkavy).

A potential love-interest and partner of the DC superhero, Dinah Drake alias Black Canary, is confirmed to be returning in season 6 after her battle with Black Siren (Katie Cassidy) in the finale of season 5. Both Harkavy and Cassidy as Black Canary and Black Siren, respectively, are also confirmed to be returning as series regulars instead of guests. A rematch between the two is also expected.

Harkavy's Black Canary is also set to be more like the DC comic book character instead of the initial series version, which appeared earlier in the previous seasons of "Arrow." It is important to note that Harkavy's character will have a new alter-ego, Drake. Drake will be the second official and regular Canary in the series, after the first one, Laurel Lance (also Katie Cassidy), died in season 4 of the show.

Drake's Black Canary started out as a cop who witnessed a death in a particle accelerator explosion in Central City. Drake was apparently screaming when the explosion's wave hit her, giving her supersonic powers where her voice can be used as a tremendous force. Drake joined Green Arrow in his crusade to protect Star City from supervillains and crime part-way through season 5 of "Arrow" as a recurring character.

To those unfamiliar with the series, "Arrow" is about Oliver Queen, a billionaire playboy turned vigilante archer after being presumed dead following his being shipwrecked on a remote island. Queen went back to his home in Star City and vowed to fight crime in his new alter ego Green Arrow, along with the help of some of the DC universe characters he met in his crusade. 

"Arrow" is now in its sixth season, and the first episode will premiere on Thursday, Oct. 12, at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
