"Ascent: Infinite Realm" is an upcoming MMORPG from Bluehole.

When video game developers Bluehole released "PlayerUnknown's Battleground," the first-person shooter game took the gaming world by storm. With its apparent success, Bluehole has just released a trailer for their latest game "Ascent: Infinite Realm."

"Get ready for an amazing world filled with Airships, Dragons, Magic & Excitement," a voiceover states in the trailer video. From that message alone, anyone can expect to see an open-world type of role-playing game (RPG), considering as well that Bluehole will be developing this.

The trailer already shows a lot of things. From the different classes players can make to the different kinds of beasts and ways to beat them. Needless to say, the gameplay itself looks extremely diverse, basing it on the trailer. The character classes are quite apparent given the traditional RPG mechanics. According to Screen Rant, the game listed down character classes: sorceress, mystic, warlord, assassin, and gunslinger.

The video, however, does not quite clearly show each class. There might just be subclasses to match the diversity of the game. Gamers who have grown up playing MMORPG games will notice how the game is similar to many of the past MMORPGs. The trailer is five minutes long as it shows a lot of different aspects of the game. Players can ride airships, mount dragons, glide through mountains, go on quests, build structures, and go planting and fishing. At one point in the trailer, it even appears as if there are also mini games.

All in all, there is just too many things going on in the trailer that many players are getting mixed feelings about it. On one hand, the gameplay does look promising, offering numerous options. On another hand, the numerous options just look overwhelming.

As for now, it seems to be leaning on the latter. "PlayerUnknown's Battleground" requires a very high-end system and it will definitely be the case for this new game. The trailer alone showed some lag as many people have pointed out in the comments section. Nevertheless, this is only the first of possibly many teasers for the game; so, players will then just have to wait.
