A new trailer for "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" has been unveiled.

Ubisoft offered fans a new sneak peek at the latest "Assassin's Creed" installment, focusing on the upcoming game's plot. It also reveals more details about the goal of its twin heroes, Jacob and Evie Frye, as they course through the streets of London to reclaim the city from the rules of the Templars.

The trailer shows the filthy, chaotic streets of London during the Industrial Revolution-era. The twins introduce the city of London as one of the greatest in the world, until "science, technology, and progress" slowly disintegrated the once majestic city.

With all the pandemonium all over the city, the Frye twins are bent in putting things back in their proper order at a time when almost all the members of the Assassin Brotherhood are wiped out.

Both Jacob and Evie cannot stand the oppression that has become a norm in their time, in 1868 London.

"When you're stealing from the rich it's criminal, but when you steal from the poor, that's capitalism," Jacob stated.

And despite their obvious differences, the siblings also stand for one thing: they are fighting for justice, and they fight to survive.

The only downside to the trailer is its too focused on the game's plot that it does not provide any new information regarding the gameplay.

"Assassin's Creed Syndicate" is the second major "Assassin's Creed" installment from Ubisoft Quebec after "Assassin's Creed Rogue" that was released in 2014.

The upcoming action-adventure open world stealth video game, inspired by historical facts, was first announced in December last year, after Kotaku got hold of the leaked information regarding the game which was formerly called "Assassin's Creed Victory."

Ubisoft's official announcement came later that day, after confirming that the next installment of the history-based game franchise will be held in London. However, the game studio also expressed their disappointment when internal information was released publicly and the reveal did not go as planned.

"Assassin's Creed Syndicate" is scheduled for release on Oct. 23 for eighth-generation consoles like PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and PC.
