A new patch for the personal computer version of "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" will be providing support for the Jack the Ripper downloadable content (DLC).

The "Jack the Ripper" DLC has been long sought after by fans of the "Assassin's Creed" franchise for a while now, and according to a recent Eurogamer review, it would seem that there are some definite highlights along with some aspects of it that could have been improved.

According to the review, the new DLC excels in providing players with engrossing and captivating missions that touch on the grisly events related to Jack the Ripper without crossing over into the realm of distasteful.

The missions themselves focus mainly on the notorious killer, although they still shed a light on the other people who were also affected by the deadly rampage, particularly those who were forced to deal with Jack the Ripper personally.

The review notes that the upcoming DLC does not introduce new districts, however, which may not be all that pleasing to "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" players.

Still, fans looking to see all that the game has to offer will probably benefit from getting the new DLC along with the new PC patch.

Aside from providing support for the Jack the Ripper DLC, the new PC patch also provides a variety of bug fixes, GameSpot reported.

One of the bugs the new patch addresses involves enemy non-player characters (NPCs) vanishing once a gang leader is vanquished.

"Assassin's Creed Syndicate" players can now also tweak the clothing physics in the game, thanks to a new feature added via the patch.

There would also be certain times in the game when two Evies would appear just after a character switch. The new PC patch hopefully gets rid of that minor annoyance.

As always, several performance and stability tweaks have also been introduced via the new PC patch for "Assassin's Creed Syndicate."
