Assassin's Creed Unity: Free Dead King DLC fixes bug

Ubisoft

With bugs spoiling what could have been a neat expansion to the Assassin's Creed Unity, the first story DLC is now currently available and gamers do not have to shed a single penny.

Though the bugs and glitches were reportedly addressed already, the bad publicity and image that the bugs created practically doused all hopes of the expansion to be in the category of paid content.

The pack can be downloaded in patch form, from the same sources where you may have perhaps downloaded patches before. Ubisoft had tried to address the glitches when they first came out but to no avail.

Hence, the best thing to save some credit was to offer it for free although that may be enough to restore the confidence of gamers who have been playing the game which is practically similar to Freedom Cry or The Tyranny of King Washington before.

For successful downloaded and ones that choose to endure in the journey which are now free from the glitches, you will find yourself the new story campaign which takes place on a brand new map. In store for gamers are new gameplay features with story missions set to take place in the catacombs beneath the city of Saint-Denis.

The patch will offer interesting and new shifts from the original game although it still remains to be seen if Ubisoft was able to fix all bugs and issues perfectly. All that aside however, in store for gamers is a whole new world where players will test their mettle against the Raiders, the game's newest opponent.

While the story could be a bit jumbled at first, it may be best to keep an eye out on whether the new settings have some marked improvement. Catacomb puzzles and tricky navigation remain so don't be surprised if there are still slight glitches that may occur.

The expansion is available for Xbox One, PS4 and the PC for free.
