Atlanta Falcons vs Oakland Raiders live stream (CBS): Watch NFL football 2016 online

The Atlanta Falcons will travel to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday for a big Week 2 clash in the NFL 2016 regular season. The Raiders claimed a dramatic victory in Week 1 and will be hoping to build on that result, but the Falcons fell short in their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will be hoping for a result here today to ensure they do not drop to 0-2.

Today's big game has a scheduled start time of 4.25 p.m. ET and takes place from O.co Coliseum in Oakland. The game can be watched on TV on the CBS network or online through live stream via the link below.

The Raiders managed to perform a storming comeback win in their opening game last week against the New Orlean Saints. Things looked to be heading the Saints way as the Raiders defense looked out of sorts against a proficient New Orleans offense, and Oakland went into the final quarter 13-24 behind.

However, in a dramatic finale, the Raiders piled on 22 points in the final quarter to steak the victory by a single point, winning 35-34.

That victory will have given the team a huge boost of confidence, although looking through the game they will also know there is still a lot to work on, especially in defense. But a win is a win at this point in the season, and the Raiders will believe they have a good chance to string two straight wins together against the Falcons today.

The Falcons meanwhile were unable to get going in their Week 1 encounter with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Atlanta offense threatened to get going a few times, but it never quite materialized, and they will be hoping for a more explosive showing today. The Atlanta defense though was a major concern, especially either side of half time against Tampa Bay.

Atlanta will need to tighten things up significantly if they are to give their offense a chance to get them ahead today against the Raiders.

Earlier this week on Thursday Night Football the New York Jets achieved their first win of the season as they defeated their in-state rivals, the Buffalo Bills 37-31.

The Jets had opened up their season with a disappointing loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, where they looked like they were still in pre-season. However, the Jets woke up on Thursday night, and put on a much more explosive display.

Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick completed an impressive 24 of 34 passes for 374 yards as he took apart the Bills' secondary with the help of wide receivers Eric Decker, Brandon Marshall and Quincy Enunwa.

Decker put on a stellar performance with six catches and a touchdown, and moved to 18 straight games recording at least 80 receiving yards or a touchdown.

Marshall meanwhile also had a fantastic game, recording six catches for 101 yards. He did give the Jets a scare in the second quarter when he went down with a knee injury. Marshall made a 15 yard reception but went down under Bills cornerback Stephon Gilmore. Marshall was down on the field for several minutes.

Marshall said after the game: "I thought I was done. I thought I was going to be finishing in my backyard in Florida."

However, even though he departed the field with the help of trainers, he returned to the game and continued to tease the Bills' defense.

Fitzpatrick later said, "Brandon is one of the tougher guys you'll ever see. They were looking at his knee, and I didn't think it was good. To see him on the ground in pain, I knew something was wrong. But then, when he stepped back in the huddle later on, it was a big surprise, but relief as well."

Tyrod Taylor tried to get the Bills offense going, and completed 18 of 30 for 297 yards and three touchdowns, however, Buffalo were just too inconsistent throughout the night and lacked efficiency in their play.

Week 2 continues today and the Atlanta Falcons and the Oakland Raiders will take to the field to start at 4.25 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on the CBS network or online through live stream by clicking here.
