Japanese video game giant Atlus is asking its fans about their preferences for future video game releases and consoles on which to access those games. Atlus, a subsidiary of Sega, distributed its annual survey to ask fans for suggestions on how to move forward with video game series like "Persona" and "Shin Megami Tensei."

The survey (translated by Siliconera) asked fans what console do they prefer if the company is to introduce a new game, either a remake or a new one. Among the questions that captured a lot of attention was the one involving a new "Persona" installment. Participants of the survey were then given the choices of PlayStation 4/PS, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, smartphones, and PC.

A shooting game based on the series and "Persona 6" were among the list of possible video game titles coming in the future. Atlus also listed a number of its previous video games with the same question.

Furthermore, the company asked gamers if they are okay with other companies developing new titles for Atlus video game franchises like "Soul Hackers," "Devil Summoner," and more.

The final question of the survey tackled people's opinion on the "Persona 5" group "Phantom Thieves of Hearts." The bonus question reads, "Do you believe in the existence of the 'Phantom Thieves of Hearts?'" People can then choose between answers like "I think it'd be cool," "Phantom Thieves? What's that?" and more choices.

The mention of a "Persona" online role-playing video game caught the attention of many gamers and video game critics. There are also comments on the Siliconera report, saying "Persona 6" should be developed for PC and that a remake for the entire "Persona" series for PC should be a priority.

Atlus has not released any information about the survey results nor their plans moving forward.
