The newest "Attack on Titan" game will feature a multiplayer mode that can be played by a party of up to four people.

According to Game Spot, the game will have a Scout mode, which will enable players to get up to three other companions online. Once the party has been assembled, they can then venture outside the wall together, with a camp as their starting place. They can upgrade their gear, dress up with different costumes and prepare resources allocated for the fights while in this location. This could be reminiscent of the hub maps from the multiplayer mode of the "Monster Hunter" game, where players can gather before they head out, ensuring that they have everything in their person before facing off against hordes of various monsters.

The leader of the group has the power to select the mission the team will undergo. The location settings encompass various iconic locations such as the Forest of Giant Trees, as well as the Ruined Town and the Stohess District. As fans can remember, the latter area was one of the major locations in the anime and manga series, since this location is where the female titan caused the most damage.

Cinema Blend points out that the "Attack on Titan" multiplayer mode will meet player expectations for its type of game. Players are expected to coordinate and work as a team in order to ensure survival. After all, Titans will knock players out of the sky, grab them, swap them, tear them in half, stomp them, or crush them. If this ever happens to a player, other party members can then swoop in and rescue their team mate.

"Attack on Titan" the game will be launched by Aug. 30, and it will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Digital copies of this game is also available for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
