Koei Tecmo recently updated the official website for the upcoming video game of "Attack on Titans," revealing several new images and gameplay videos showing off new mechanics and combat, particularly gameplay segments for the "action" sequences and "camp" sequences.

As stated in a report from Gematsu, a total of 10 video clips are now available for viewing alongside a gallery of updated screenshots. The publishing site has since combined the clips for easier viewing:

The action segments reveal more of the same gameplay mechanics shown off back in September, focusing on how the 3D Manuever Gear works. However, the new footage reveals that cooperation with other human squad members is vital in taking down a horde of Titans attacking the city.

It is also shown that roofs will be important assets in fighting the collosal Titans but they are also destructible and Titans will actively seek players hiding behind buildings. Some of the images also reveal that not all missions outside the walls will allow players to use the 3D Maneuver Gear and instead will be conducted on horseback.

Camp sequences allow players to initiate new chapters by conversing with other NPCs, upgrade their gear and weapons, and prepare for upcoming missions.

Two new stages were also revealed. One is the "Ruined City" and the other is the "Rural Area."

According to a report from iDigital Times, producer Hisashi Koinuma explained that the game will play like an opposite of Koei Tecmo's "Warrior Orochi" titles in the sense that instead of one player fighting many enemies, it will now be many humans against a single Titan, a mechanic that sticks true to the nature of the anime and manga.

"Attack on Titan" will release for the PS Vita, PS3, and PS4 by this winter in Japan and is scheduled to release next year in North America and Europe, although no specific release date has yet been confirmed.
