With the second season of "Attack on Titan" right around the corner, fans are now asking if the series will be staying true to the progression of the story.

As of now, the anime version of "Attack on Titan" is only two story arcs ahead of its manga counterpart, a gap that can be made up quickly especially for a television show, leading some fans to believe that the series may be forced to create its own path, but that appears not to be the case.

Series director Tetsuro Araki has already indicated that they have had no choice other than to wait out the progression of the manga. Although some of the screenwriters on the show may prefer to start branching out now and creating their own storylines so that they won't have to wait on the manga, the executives behind the "Attack on Titan" have reportedly indicated that they want to make sure that the series represents the original content exactly.

As for what is in store in season two of the popular anime series, fans may need to brace themselves for one character from the show dying sometime soon. Levi Ackerman will reportedly be the character who is nearing his ultimate demise, according to Yibada. Fans who will be tuning in to the first episode of the show's second season can reportedly expect some foreshadowing which would indicate the eventual demise of Ackerman.

In related news, a new trailer for part two of the live-action "Attack on Titan" film has reportedly spoiled one of the major plot points that fans are looking forward to seeing play out on screen, according to Tech Times.

The plot point in question involves Eren being consumed by a Titan, only for him to emerge later on from the belly of the beast as a Titan himself.

It's one of the scenes fans can look forward to when part two of the "Attack on Titan" film hits theaters in late October.
