The popular Japanese anime series "Attack on Titan" is slated to have its own mobile app game. The company that is seeking to develop the game is the Chinese-based multinational technology company Tencent, featuring material from the first season's arc of the anime, and the manga -- with the official title of "Attack on Titan - Dedicate Your Heart."

The game will bring players to the undisclosed location of "Attack on Titan," which is probably somewhere in Europe, as a new member of the 104th Training Corp division. Given the time frame and the setting, players should expect to see most, if not all, of their favorite main characters from the first season -- such as Mikasa, Eren, Armin, and Captain Levi.

Given that the game will probably begin at the early parts of season 1, most of the characters should still be alive when the player starts on a new save file. The gameplay will feature some quick time events, wherein the real-time gameplay is paused, and the players are shown prompts that they would have to input in order to execute moves to gain a significant advantage in battle.

Players can even string an array of different combos with other characters to maximize the amount of damage that they can dish out against the fearsome titans. The trailer announcement is full of clips from the very first episode of the anime, but does not show yet any images that may give fans an idea of how the game will look or play once it has been released.

Nonetheless, the mobile game is something that fans of the show have been clamoring for in the past. However, the initial plans of the developers are to first release the game in Southeast Asia. As of now, there are no plans announced on when, or if, the game will ever be released for Western consumers.
