Nebula, the blue-skinned cybernetic child of Thanos played Karen Gillan, will be taking on the mad titan in "Avengers: Infinity Wars."

In an exclusive interview with Den of Geek, Gillan said that the filming of the mega movie which started in January will still be filming up until December. This is because the filming for "Avengers: Infinity Wars" and "Avengers 4" are done back-to-back as was intended by directors Joe and Anthony Russo. The reshoots will continue into 2018.

The actress described the experience as "an ongoing thing," since the upcoming installment of the "Avengers" movie series will feature the crossover of the earth's mightiest heroes with the galaxy's grooviest guardians.

In "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2," fans saw Nebula intent on taking down Thanos all by herself. The Comic book version of Nebula has had a number of times battling the galactic tyrant. In one encounter, Thanos blasted the space mercenary with cosmic energy and left her burned and disfigured, yet still alive. If the comic books are an indication of the upcoming father-daughter confrontation, fans have been asking the question of what lies ahead for the fate of the anti-hero.

"I definitely think that with all of what we've been building towards is definitely going come to a head in the Avengers film, and she's (Nebula) definitely going to confront all of those traumatic memories. I definitely think she is going to have her moment," said Gillan.

As fans have learned in the two Guardians movie, both Gamora and Nebula were kidnapped by Thanos and were turned into heartless assassin's that did his biddings. Although the two became sisters, Thanos kept pitting them against each other, to a point where it would be fine if one was killed by the other. Apparently, Gamora always won and Nebula suffered for it. She hated Gamora, but cursed Thanos for giving her that kind of fate.
