A church in Netherland rang out its bells to the tune of three of DJ Avicii's songs following his tragic death last Friday. The Swedish artist, real name Tim Bergling, died in Oman at the age of 28 but authorities have yet to reveal the actual cause of death.

Malgosia Fiebig, a bellringer in the town of Utrecht, posted on Twitter that she planned on playing DJ Avicii's hits. She shared a photo of the sheet music set on the church's organ and captioned the image with: "A quick preparation of three Avicii songs. Tomorrow I start my Carillon concert with it."

Fiebig picked popular songs like "Wake Me Up," "Without You" and "Hey Brother" to ring from the Dom Tower. The music artist was a Grammy nominated star whose songs regularly hit the top 10 charts around the world.

Following his death, music superstars like Calvin Harris, Diplo, Zedd, Deadmau5, Madonna and David Guetta paid tribute to the DJ.

Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven also recognized the artist as "one of Sweden's biggest musicians," while Swedish Prince Carl Philipp and Princess Sofia expressed their sadness at Avicii's untimely - he had performed at the royal couple's wedding.

An autopsy of the DJ's body revealed that there was no foul play in his death, although an official cause of death has yet to be released.

Some reports have claimed that the young star struggled with drinking and was previously treated for acute pancreatitis.

In 2014, he underwent surgery for a gall bladder that forced the cancellation of his shows. In 2016, the DJ took a break from performing live due to health reasons.

DJ Avicii was one of the most successful dance artists of all time and previously featured in Forbes' magazine's list of highest paid DJs. In his last album release called "Stories," Avicii wrote and performed the song "Sunset Jesus," which delved into a person's search for peace amid struggles.
