Only a week left before the premiere episode of "The Bachelorette" season 11 is aired, and for the first time, two ladies will nervously await their fate amidst the 25 men who will be willing to battle it out for their hand in marriage.

Both Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson, who were also featured in the recently concluded season of "The Bachelor" with Chris Soules, will be present in the season premiere to meet all the 25 men.

They will be handing out their roses, and the men will have to choose first who of the two bachelorettes they want to try their luck in love with. This means that only one of the two ladies will stay to choose the lucky man.

The bachelorettes had a chance to talk to reporters this week before the season begins on Monday, and they discussed how they feel about the big twist.

"It just felt a little awkward to think of having another person there," 29-year-old Bristowe told the reporters present during a conference call about how she feels during the first evening at The Bachelorette mansion. "This competitive-feeling nature, it's not something I usually put myself through to find a guy."

She also told Us Magazine that she was not expecting the twist featured in the new season, and admitted that she was not excited about it.

Nilsson , 28, also felt a little "awkward," but claimed that having Bristowe with her through that experience made it a little better.

Some felt that the new twist is degrading to the girls' part, but both Nilsson and Bristow felt otherwise.

"I didn't see it as degrading, I honestly saw it as compliment, like we're both so great," Nilsson said.

"The Bachelorette" season 11 premieres on Monday, May 18, on ABC.
