This week on "The Bachelorette," Kaitlyn took the guys out for a rap battle date, Clint said goodbye, and Nick Viall — the runner up in Andi Dorfman's season of "The Bachelorette" — returned to woo Kaitlyn, much to the displeasure of her other suitors. 

Kaitlyn pulled Clint aside and asked him what was going on in the house. He told her that everyone was jealous of his friendship with JJ, and Kaitlyn reminded him that being on the show isn't about his relationship with JJ but with her.

JJ appeared to be disappointed that Clint was leaving the mansion, but he told him that maybe he should apologize to everyone before leaving. Then, the two got into a heated argument, with Clint telling JJ that he had told him things that he never told anybody. Soon, Clint left and JJ walked away from the mansion to cry in the bushes. 

Nobody was going home then, so Kaitlyn took everybody to New York City. 

In NYC, Kaitlyn decided that Justin, Jonathan, Corey, Ben Z., Tanner, Ryan, Shawn, and JJ would rap battle. Rap and hip hop pioneer Doug E. Fresh was on hand to help the guys with their rhymes before the battles. 

In the battle, it was Ben Z. against Tanner, Jonathan versus Ryan, Corey versus JJ, and Shawn against Justin. It was Shawn and Justin's battle that had the women in the audience cheering as Shawn briefly flashed his abs as he rapped, "You say you're a big-time personal trainer/ Kaitlyn/ his body, my body/ No-brainer."

In the end, though, Shawn won the round, Justin won the group date rose as he compared himself to Matt Damon and Shawn to Ryan Gosling during the battle. 

After the performance, it was revealed that Ashley I., who competed with Kaitlyn during Chris Soules' season of "The Bachelor," and Nick Viall were there watching the rap battle. Kaitlyn revealed that she and Nick developed a friendship on social media. Nick told Kaitlyn that he's bothered by the idea of her getting engaged and that he would regret it if he didn't try to be with her. She told him that she'd think about it. 

Naturally, her suitors weren't thrilled about the idea. After a few hours, Kaitlyn decided to welcome Nick to the mansion. The episode ended with Nick entering the guys' hotel suite and saying, "What's up, guys?" 

Next week, Kaitlyn and her suitors head to Texas as she goes on a two-step dance competition with one of the men for her one-on-one date, the others write their own mariachi songs to serenade Kaitlyn for the group date, and Kaitlyn goes on a kayak date with one of the guys. 

"The Bachelorette" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
