This week on "The Bachelorette," Nick Viall's arrival at the hotel caused some intense reactions from the other suitors, Kaitlyn took the guys to Texas, and one of them confronted Kaitlyn and questioned her intentions.

Nick was greeted by the guys in the most unwelcoming manner, and he explained that he was not there to cause trouble or stir up any drama — he was actually there because he's genuinely interested in Kaitlyn and that he'd like to know her a little more. He told the guys that he understands if they're upset, but hopes that they respect why he came.

At the Rose Ceremony, Kaitlyn handed out roses to Shawn, Ben H., Justin, Ben Z., Tanner, Ian, Joe, JJ, Joshua, and Nick. Corey, Jonathan, and Ryan were sent home.

Later, Kaitlyn and Ben H. went on a two-step competition for their one-on-one date, and though they were eliminated on the second round, that didn't stop them from having fun as they had a romantic dinner on a rooftop.

For the group date, Kaitlyn had Nick, Joshua, Ben Z., JJ, Joe, Tanner, Chris, Ian, Jared, and Justin wrote an original mariachi song to serenade her with. Kaitlyn brought along 12-year old Sebastian, a popular mariachi singer in San Antonio, to show them how it's done. The guys sang to her while she was seated on a stool in front of a restaurant — all except Nick, who took her to the balcony and serenaded her there, much to the annoyance of the other guys. In the end, Nick won the group date rose.

Later, in an attempt to show Kaitlyn how fun and spontaneous he is, Josh had her cut his hair, and Nick pointed out how he didn't see how that move would help him at all since Kaitlyn bungled the Mohawk that she tried to give Josh.

On a one-on-one date, Shawn told Kaitlyn of a car accident he was in a few years ago and that he never thought that he would survive.

"I'm falling in love with you," Shawn told her, and Kaitlyn said that she feels the same way.

Later, Kaitlyn told the camera she felt as if her husband was saying it to her for the first time.

Meanwhile, Ian said that he's not interested in Kaitlyn anymore and wondered why everyone is so in awe of her when "she's not half as hot as my ex-girlfriend." He decided to go home, but before that, he went to Kaitlyn to give her a piece of his mind.

"I feel like you are here to make out with a bunch of dudes on TV and bringing Nick in … I question your intentions," he told her. "I wonder if you really are that shallow, because I don't see anything beyond the surface."

Next week, viewers can tune it to see Kaitlyn's reaction to Ian's outburst. Also, the bachelorette takes her suitors to Dublin, Ireland, and she and Nick visit a church for their one-on-one date.

"The Bachelorette" airs  Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
