The Ravens go on the road today desperate for their first win of the season, and enter Week 4 in the basement of the AFC North with an 0-3 record.

Only three NFL teams in the past 25 years have bounced back from an 0-3 start to make the Playoffs, but that will be the goal of this Ravens team. However, they will have to get their recovery started today with win over division rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Steelers meanwhile come into today's clash on 2-1, and are second in the division behind the 3-0 Bengals.

Pittsburgh have done well to recover from their opening day loss to the New England Patriots where they succumbed 21-28 to Tom Brady and his men.

In particular, in Week 2 the Steelers showed their potential by completely taking apart the San Francisco 49ers in a 43-18 demolition. That immense win at Heinz Field came after a storming first half performance by the Steelers, in which they piled on an impressive 28 points, leading 28-3 at the mid-way point.

Last week was a very different game from that high-scoring win over the 49ers, but the result was ultimately the same as the Steelers won a road game against the St Louis Rams 12-6.

If the Steelers can make it three straight wins today then it should give them a lot of confidence to really push on in October, where they have difficult games against the San Diego Chargers, the Arizona Cardinals, and the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Baltimore Ravens on the other hand will be feeling down after last week's loss against the Cincinnati Bengals. Ultimately they will feel it is a game that they could have won, however, a lackluster first half where they allowed the Bengals 14 unanswered points gave them too much to do in an improved second half. Even though they fought back they fell short 24-28 to lose a third straight game to open the new season.

That result will reinforce the feeling in the Ravens camp that things are just not going their way. In Week 2 they suffered a similar story in their loss to the Oakland Raiders, where they allowed the Raiders to pile on 10 unanswered points in the third quarter to leave themselves too much to do in their fourth quarter fight back, losing by another narrow margin, 33-37.

In Week 1 they competed well against the Denver Broncos but lost again by a small margin in a 13-19 defeat.

The Ravens must find a way to get on the right side of the result today as if they fall to 0-4 today their season will surely already be over before it has even really begun. However, don't expect the Steelers to give an inch in this AFC North clash, as they will have their own postseason ambitions and know how important it is to pick up home victories at Heinz Field.
