Barcelona will play Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish Super Cup 2015 tournament on Friday in a game that will kick start the Spanish football season. The game has a scheduled start time of 9 p.m. BST (4 p.m. ET) and can be watched online through live stream via the link below.

This first leg game will take place at San Mames, before the teams resume the two-legged tie at the Nou Camp on Monday.

If Barcelona can win here they will be on their way to win a 12th Super Cup title; Athletic meanwhile have won just one Super Cup previously.

Ahead of the new season commencing, most pundits have already penciled in Barcelona to be the team to win the Spanish La Liga again. Such is the strength and depth of their squad that a transfer ban has done little to knock them and they are big favorites to retain their league title this season.

The Nou Camp did suffer a few seasons of turbulence after a switch in managers, but they now look settled and back to their best after an amazing treble season last season. Main rivals Real Madrid meanwhile still do not look the completed article, and many pundits have suggested they may not even be as competitive as last year, let alone better.

Barcelona have already gotten their season up and running with an amazing UEFA Super Cup 2015 win last week, defeating Spanish rivals Sevilla 5-4 after extra time.

Lionel Messi as usual was the center of attention, scoring two goals. However, it was Pedro who was the match winner, claiming the winning goal late on in extra time.

Barcelona's attack looked as strong as ever, however, their defense looked like a lot of work was still needed if they are to navigate their way to more trophies this season.
