Defending champions Barcelona aim to bounce back following a tough loss in their previous La Liga match when they host Las Palmas this Saturday at the Nou Camp.

The Catalans were on a roll in their first four league matches until striker Iago Aspas and Celta Vigo derailed their success with a 4–1 defeat last Wednesday.

Aspas recorded a brace in the match with Barca striker Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior netting his club's lone goal in the defeat.

Before the devastating loss, Barcelona was on top of the La Liga table following wins over Athletic Bilbao (1–0), Malaga (1–0), Atletico Madrid (–1), and Levante (4–1).

The defeat landed Barcelona on the fifth place in the table with 12 points tied with Atletico, and it also ended their 18-match unbeaten streak in La Liga play.

Barca is just a point behind leaders Real Madrid and a win over Las Palmas would help them become number one again.

Scoring is not an issue for Blaugrana since they have nine goals in their past five matches in the La Liga.

But they have also conceded six goals already after letting Celta score four in Wednesday's loss.

From a club that suffered a defeat to a club that recently just won their first match in the La Liga, Las Palmas aim to continue winning and keep climbing up the table.

Las Palmas captured their first victory over Sevilla (2–0) and ended a four match winless streak, which included a loss to Atletico (1–0), draws against Levante (0–0) and Celta Vigo (3–3), and another defeat facing Rayo Vallecano (1–0).

The recent win over Sevilla gave Las Palmas a total point tally of five points to be on the 12th spot in the table.

Las Palmas' five points placed them in a four-way tie with Real Sociedad, Sporting Gijón, and Real Betis.

The match between Barcelona and Las Palmas will be held on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 10 a.m. ET. To watch via live stream, click here.
