After the long wait, the doors of Norma and Norman's infamous White Pine Bay motel will re-open soon. A&E has announced that "Bates Motel" season 4 will begin on March 7, according to Variety.

The network dropped the announcement during the Television Critics Association press tour held Wednesday. They also revealed that "Bates Motel" season 4 will premiere with the new "Omen" sequel series titled "Damien."

The new installment of the suspense thriller series based on the characters of Robert Bloch's "Psycho" novel will center its 10 episodes on Norman Bates's (Freddie Highmore) continuous downward spiral.

During the previous season, the friendly but mentally unstable teenager was seen having severe bouts of hallucinations. He even experienced several bouts of blackouts where he subconsciously channeled his mother Norma (Vera Farmiga) and killed his friend Bradley (Nicola Peltz).

Norma, on the other hand, will do everything that she can to give her son the professional help he needs in "Bates Motel" season 4 because of her increasing fear. But this could hurt the very close bond between the two.

Meanwhile, Sheriff Alex Romero (Nestor Carbonell) will find himself drawn once again in the complicated relationship between the Bates mother-and-son duo. In season 3, the spark between the White Pine Bay officer and the Bates matriarch became very obvious. Will they start acting on their attraction this time?

"Bates Motel" season 4 will also introduce several new characters, including "The Player" star Damon Gupton, who will portray the role of Pineview Mental Institution resident doctor Gregg Edwards. "Wicked City" actress Jaime Ray Newman will also join the show as Rebecca Hamilton, Sheriff Romero's former love interest.

Ryan Hurst will also reprise his role as the gun and drug dealer named Chick, who used to have issues with Norma's brother Caleb (Kenny Johnson) and older son Dylan (Max Thieriot).
