Max Thieriot teased what fans should look forward to in the fifth and final season of "Bates Motel."

In an interview with Showbiz Junkies during the 2016 San Diego Comic Con, Thieriot revealed that his character Dylan might finally find out that his estranged mother Norma (Vera Farmiga) is already dead, and his half-brother Norman (Freddie Highmore) should be the one to blame.

"I mean, I assume and I don't know, but I assume at some point Dylan has to find out so I think the big question for me is what...and I think that they'll probably dive into it this season," the actor said.

However, the actor admitted that he still has no idea about the plot of the upcoming season.

"To be honest, I don't have any scripts yet so I don't even know that much," he said. Yet he revealed that he will be the one who will sit on the director's chair for the fourth episode of the season.

Thieriot also expressed his excitement over inclusion of hip hop superstar Rihanna in the upcoming season. She will portray the role of Marion Crane when the series returns.

"It's going to be super interesting and exciting to see what she brings to the character, what she brings to the show. Obviously she has such a big fan base but it's not really about that. I think it's about the energy that I feel like she's going to bring, because she just naturally has, to the character," the actor said.

The fifth season of "Bates Motel" will also feature the full-blown madness of Norman after his mother died in season 4. Norman has always been close to Norma all his life, and losing her could further aggravate his fragile mental state.

A&E has yet to announce the official premiere date of "Bates Motel" season 5.
