'Batman Arkham' HD Collection rumors: Unannounced bundle leaked, said to arrive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in June

An alleged "Batman Arkham" HD collection will reportedly be released by June 10, and is said to include "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "Batman: Arkham City." The package is rumored to be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

An alleged GameStop employee took a photo of a company memo that contains a future promo for the game retailer, the "Batman Arkham" HD Collection, and sent it to EuroGamer. The image shows the release date and the content of the package. It also shows that pre-orders will go live April 19, plus all released DLC packs will come along with the package.

The details in the image says, "Includes critically acclaimed titles Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, Updated visuals optimized for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Comprehensive versions include all previously released DLC and additional content."

This latest report coincides with GameSpot's previous report, dated March 23, 2015, about a rumor that "Batman" games developed by Rocksteady will be remastered and will be released on the current–generation consoles.

PlayStationLifestyle added that the release date was believed to happen before the holidays of 2015.

Both games were considered highly successful upon their respective releases. The first game sold 2.5 million units by the end of September 2009, considered a huge number for that year. The second game has shipped more than 6 million units since its release. The two games have brought Rocksteady Studios numerous awards.

Back in 2009, GameSpot reviewed "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and said that the visuals of the game are impressive, and it called the soundtrack "stirring." Likewise, it lauded the voice acting, the puzzles, and the combat. The review complimented the team that developed the game, which it said knew the game's source material quite well.

"Batman: Arkham City" also gained a positive review from GameSpot in 2011, the year it was released. It said that the game provides thrills and and an adventure that one would not soon forget. The review was positive that gamers would come back for more.

Both games were also originally released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.

Warner Bros, the game publisher, has not issued an official statement with regard to their upcoming promo, but it is expected very soon.
