Hidden specifics and Easter eggs make video games more fun and a newly dug up secret event in "Batman: Arkham Knight" is proof of that. Thanks to YouTube user Batman Arkham Videos, gamers will see the Man-Bat escape and terrorize Gotham City on Halloween.

Players who have already accomplished the Man-Bat side-quest line are the only ones who can pull off this trick as this is where the supervillain is incarcerated at GCPD. When that's done, the only thing left to do is to forward the console date to Oct. 31.

When players proceed to their usual bad guy beatdowns in "Batman: Arkham Knight,"  the Man-Bat should show up again and attack out of nowhere in the same way he did the first time. Players can also return to GCPD to check that the baddie's cell is already empty.

The unearthing of this secret event has media outlets thinking that Rockstar has implanted more hidden quests for players to discover. Twinfinite thinks that the Man-Bat's escape falling on Halloween is no coincidence and that the game studio may have actually prepared something special for the said date.

Meanwhile, as console players get a load of these Easter eggs and the overall crime-fighting in "Batman: Arkham Knight," PC players still await the return of the game to stores after being pulled out due to issues that had Rockstar "working like crazy."

Thankfully, they can take comfort in the promise of Nvidia engineer Tom Peterson to "make the game great." Peterson told mmorpg.com that the title "is a fantastic game" and that "it plays great, it's tons of fun and the effects are amazing."

"And I can tell you that when Warner Bros. makes it available on Steam again that people are going to be delighted," he added, explaining that his team is "fixing a ton of things that are not necessarily related" to them.

"At the end of the day, the game is the focus, and we're going to make it good," he guaranteed.
