"Batman: Arkham Knight" players are getting an early Christmas gift, as the game's December downloadable content (DLC) is now available.

The game's December DLC, also known as the "Season of Infamy," will be adding a variety of new content for players to try out.

First off, players will be able to complete four new missions that will be finishing up epilogues for the Killer Croc, the Mad Hatter, Mr. Freeze, and Ra's Al Ghul, according to Eurogamer.

There will also be some new skins made available to the game via the "Season of Infamy."

Players will be able to recognize the new Batman skin as the one that was also showcased in the 2008 film "The Dark Knight." "Batman: Arkham Knight" players will also be getting the Batmobile skin from that movie courtesy of the December DLC.

There are also six new AR challenges for players to participate in coming courtesy of the December DLC.

"Season of Infamy" for "Batman: Arkham Knight" is included in the game's season pass.

Releasing alongside "Season of Infamy" was the latest "Arkam Insider" video coming courtesy of the game's developer Rocksteady Studios.

The video shows off the contents of the game's December DLC and also features studio head Sefton Hill bidding farewell to the "Batman Arkham" series, although it may not exactly be a final goodbye.

As GameSpot pointed out, Hill stopped short of actually saying that Rocksteady Studios will not be making another "Batman" game, theoretically leaving the door open for yet another entry into the series.

For the most part, the "Batman Arkham" games have been well received by fans and critics alike, although the series has had its share of problems as well.

Most notably, the PC port of "Batman: Arkham Knight" was troubled right from the very start leading to plenty of issues for players.

Still, there remains a chance that "Batman: Arkham Knight" may not be the last in the series.
