Warner Bros. Interactive and Rocksteady Studios have released a new patch update for the PC version of "Batman: Arkham Knight."

In the changelog notes posted on the title's Steam Community page, the most noted update that the developer and publisher have rolled out to the PC version is a hotfix for the Windows 10 issue. Prior to the update, players reported that the game freezes and sometimes crashes completely, particularly when the language is set to versions other than English.

Meanwhile, the patch itself also addressed a lot of other issues that were still plaguing the PC version of "Batman: Arkham Knight." The fixes include both system and design changes, and there were also additional in-game updates. For example, the new update fixed performance drops, futher improved VRAM management, and also made stable some multi-monitor specific bugs.

In-game, the new patch made keyboard and mouse binding more organized, as well as fixed other mission- and character-specific glitches and bugs. In addition, the new update also added support for the November DLC for the title, including new items inspired by the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" film, as well as new skins, AR Challenges, and an all-new Crime Challenge Pack.

Warner Bros. and Rocksteady Studios both came under fire for the botched initial release of "Batman Arkham Knight." When the title first rolled out earlier this year, players reported glitches and bugs, particularly the PC version. Issues like freezing frames, framerate drops and hitches, as well as game crashes were reported, and disgruntled players increased in number.

The reviews have gotten so bad that online retailers such as Steam pulled "Batman: Arkham Knight" off their download lists. Warner Bros. then decided to pull out the PC version completely and re-released it earlier this month.
