The new patch for the PC version of "Batman: Arkham Knight" is now officially live. 

The current interim patch has already been tested and it started rolling out to PC gamers last Sept. 3. It appeared for a brief moment last Wednesday, Sept. 2, to PC gamers who downloaded the game from Steam and were a part of the beta builds of the game. However, Warner Bros. Interactive pulled out the patch just hours after it was released.

Now officially out, the new patch has received some positive first impressions from fans who have already seen the new build. According to the patch notes posted on the Steam Community page, it finally addresses the numerous graphics and display issues for the PC version of "Batman: Arkham Knight."

When the game was initially rolled out, fans' expectations went sour as it was found out that the title, particularly the PC version, suffered from a number of glitches and bugs such as inconsistent frame rates, game freezes, and in some cases, incompatibility with the graphics drivers which caused the game to completely crash. The number of complaints from gamers went so high that publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment decided to pull out the digital listing of the game from online retailers such as Steam. Physical copies of the PC version were also taken off the shelves of retailers.

After frequent reports of glitches and bugs, developer Rocksteady Studios released a series of micro updates for the PC version while also continuously working with numerous graphics teams from noted companies such as Nvidia to facilitate a lasting solution to the problems that PC gamers of "Batman: Arkham Knight" were facing.

Now, with the patch seemingly making the version more stable, fans would be waiting for the title to appear once again on both digital and store shelves.
