Action superheroes are all the rage now and Batman can never be removed from that list. While "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is something moviegoers are waiting for, video gamers have another thing to be excited about — "Batman: Arkham Knight." 

"Arkham Knight" is the sequel to Rocksteady Studios' "Batman: Arkham Asylum." The game series is an open world action and adventure game where the Caped Crusader fights against super villains in an attempt to save Gotham, just like what he always does in the comics and movies. But of course, playing the game is a different experience altogether as players get to be Batman themselves. 

Now, there have been a slew of updates for the game already since this is one of the most anticipated games coming out next year. And for those who are excited about the game and want to know the details so far, here is the round-up of spoilers from Movie Pilot: 

Plot 

"Arkham Knight" follows the story of "Arkhan Asylum," picking up a year after the death of Joker. Now, there are three villains who are putting Gotham City in chaos and it's only Batman who can save the city. But there's a catch: the three villains are actually working for a militarized version of Batman who calls himself the Arkham Knight. 

The Arkham Knight hates Batman and is willing to go through lengths just to destroy him. However, Movie Pilot revealed that the Arkham Knight actually holds a grudge against Batman. What personal reason could that be? 

Gameplay 

One of the best features of the "Arkham" series is its gameplay. Players love its combat aspects since its "free-flowing." Players can combine kicks and punches to create combos and hit streaks. But for the most part, using Batman's gadgets should be icing on the cake. Players have so many gadgets and gizmos at their disposal, which makes the game more fun to play. 

Moreover, "Arkham Knight" also features side missions and hidden Riddler collectibles. The content is pretty wide, too. 

What to Look Forward to 

Much of the spotlight is on Batman's Batmobile. Not only is it designed in such a very cool way, Batman can now use it to catch criminals and in racing missions. Maps in the game are also five times bigger now, which means players have so many places to roam around. 

"Batman: Arkham Knight" is set for release on June 2, 2015. In the meantime, here's a teaser for the game.
