With just a couple of weeks from the much-awaited release of "Batman: Arkham Knight," game developer Rocksteady Studios introduces a new villain in Gotham — Red Hood — in his very own story pack. The game studio showcases the baddie in action via a new trailer wherein he singlehandedly puts a pack of bad guys to sleep.

The short and fast-moving footage shows Red Hood bursting through the ceiling, drawing two pistols, and basically scaring the living daylights out of his enemies. The character can do much damage using only his fists but with a set of gizmos, including a grappling hook, he's basically unstoppable.

Red Hood prowls in the night, preparing to pounce on his prey. Even gun-toting criminals have no match for him. The video even shows the character plunging into a group of rogues as he lets out a barrage of bullets with his pair of trusty pistols. Fans will also notice that he likes to whack his enemies real hard.

Gamers who pre-order the game from GameStop will get this action-packed Red Hood Story Pack together with the Harley Quinn DLC pack. Those who choose not to pre-order but have plans of buying the game can still get the expansion pack as a standalone.

"Batman: Arkham Knight" is teeming with pre-order bonuses from both Rocksteady and retailers, who arrange their own bonanzas and bundles for buyers of the highly-anticipated action-adventure video game. Gamers can check with their favorite retailers to see what they have in store for buyers.

In other related news, a Harley Quinn poster has been released and it markedly captures her love for all things criminal. In the poster, The Joker's girlfriend grips an oversized, definitely deadly firearm behind her back as if planning to surprise attack anyone who makes the wrong choice of messing with her.

"Batman: Arkham Knight" marks the epic conclusion of the stellar "Arkham" trilogy. The title will be released for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on June 23.
