Earlier this month, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" released a third trailer which saw General Zod turn into something that looked anything but human. Fans immediately speculated that Zod must have turned into Doomsday, the villain who caused the demise of Superman in the 1992 comic book "The Death of Superman."

On Sunday, Dec. 13, Cosmic Book News reported that the film's production designer, Patrick Tatopoulos, spoke with French magazine Premiere to talk about Doomsday. In the report, Tatopoulos appears to have said a lot of things about Doomsday's involvement in the film. But on Wednesday, Premiere magazine denied that the interview ever happened and confirmed this via Twitter to Cosmic Book News reporter Matt McGloin.

"I can confirm you that we did not interview Patrick Tatopoulos about Batman v Superman," Premiere magazine tweeted.

McGloin updated the initial report and said that the initial source came from French website AlloCine's forums, and the interview is said to be for next month's issue of the magazine.

In the alleged interview, Tatopoulos is said to have spoken about Doomsday, Superman, and Lex Luthor and said that fans "may be aware of the death of Superman story, but this is handled in such a new way."

The alleged report comes after the latest trailer got some backlash from fans, as some complained that the clip spoiled the movie. In the latest teaser, Clark Kent is seen covering a red carpet event when Bruce Wayne arrives in his car. Clark introduces himself to Bruce and asks him, "What's your position on the bat vigilante in Gotham?"

Clark continues and says that people in Gotham have been living in fear of Batman, as the vigilante thinks that he's above the law. Bruce responds in with a dig at the Daily Planet and Superman, saying that it seemed to him that everytime someone saved the world, the newspaper would write a "puff piece" about it. The clip ends with Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman facing off against a common enemy.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" premieres on March 25, 2016.
