One of the most talked about sequences in the recent "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer is the appearance of the villain Doomsday, and he is speculated to signal the film's last act.

However, a report from Cosmic Book News points out that the film's production designer Patrick Tatopoulos stated in an interview with Premiere France magazine that Doomsday isn't the movie's final threat.

Tatopoulos reportedly stated that Doomsday is not the main enemy at the end of the film and that there is a larger threat that has yet to be seen.

He also stated "those feeling they may know too much this early, are going to be in for a true surprise." This is a direct response to fans who feel that the trailer revealed too many plot points about the movie. Tatopoulos revealed that the actual sequence of events in the film will be quite surprising to viewers.

Comic Book News later updated the report and explained that the interview was conducted on Allocine forums and that the whole interview will later be included in the next month's publication of Premiere.

However, according to a report from Cinema Blend, Premiere called the interview into question via Twitter.

"@ComicBook_Movie: hey guys, are you sure you saw that Patrick Tatopoulos interview on Première ?" the publication asked. Comic Book News is reportedly sticking to their report and claims that the interview is genuine and is not fabricated material.

If the interview is true then Doomsday's arrival might merely be in the middle of the film and that Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) is truly the main villain of the film, with another sinister plot in mind. However, there is also the chance that the film might include an entirely new villain that has not yet been revealed to the public.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will release in theaters on March 25, 2016.
