While the world is still waiting for the release of the highly anticipated sneak peek of Warner Bros.' "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," news about the upcoming superhero movie have been keeping the buzz alive.

In the March issue of Fashionista, Oscar-nominated costume designer Michael Wilkinson talked about the process of building the superhero suits of the film's characters. According to Wilkinson, director Zack Snyder has a particular requirement for all the costumes that will be worn by the heroes in the upcoming movie.

"He really wants these characters to connect directly to our world. So if you were walking down the street and you came across Superman or Batman — of course it would be startling and powerful — but it could actually happen in our world rather than in a stylized version of our reality," the costume designer said.

IB Times reported that Batman's new costume, which will be worn by Ben Affleck in the upcoming movie, will reintroduce the Caped Crusader's grey suit first seen during the 1960's. Over the years, Batman's costume used a darker color.

Wilkinson also mentioned that Snyder wanted the Batsuit to be easy to wear and very flexible but can still function in a natural but dynamic way. Also, the film's costume designer shared that Batman will be wearing more than one suit, and he worked on a total of 18 costumes for the movie.

Aside from Batman, the film will also feature Superman portrayed by Henry Cavill, Wonder Woman played by Gal Gadot, Aquaman played by Jason Momoa, Lex Luthor played by Jesse Eisenberg, Batman's trusted butler Alfred J. Pennyworth played by Jeremy Irons, Perry White played by Laurence Fishburne, Superman's love interest Lois Lane portrayed by Amy Adams, and Martha Kent played by Diane Lane.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be released on March 26, 2016.
