When a movie that would feature both the Dark Knight and the Last Son of Krypton was announced two years ago, both film and comic fans alike celebrated, and since then, rumors have kept on floating around regarding details for the upcoming film.

Slated to be released by next year, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be the first live action film that will bring together two of the most iconic comicbook heroes of all time. Together with the debate on who will win between Batman and Superman, which villains will make it to the movie, and which actors will play which characters, numerous rumors about the development and storyline circulate, the latest of which is about one of Superman's arch nemeses making a souped-up appearance.

It has already been confirmed that, indeed, Lex Luthor will figure in the upcoming "Batman v Superman" film, and that he will be played by no other than Jesse Eisenberg. However, it was not confirmed how Luthor will fit in the film's story, if he will take on the Man of Steel himself or partner up with other villains to duke it out with the two heroes.

According to JoBlo, a trusted source and insider within the film confirmed that not only will Luthor be making an appearance all throughout the movie, but that he will do battle in his war suit. This seems to confirm director Zack Snyder's take on the character.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Snyder said, "He's not any of the Lexes that you've seen, that's for sure. Other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course."

Snyder added, "Our Lex is disarming and he's not fake. He says what he believes and he says what's on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it's all there."
