Fans of the DC universe were heartbroken to find that the trailer of the next superhero extravaganza, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," was not shown at the premiere of "Jupiter Ascending" on Feb. 6 this year. It is now expected that the official teaser trailer will be released at the Comic Con 2015. However, reports of a leaked teaser have been making the rounds, creating a new frenzy among fans.

According to reports from Movie Pilot, the leaked trailer sets the premise of Batman being skeptical about the true intentions of Superman. The trailer gives a throwback of images from "Man of Steel" where the inhabitants of Krypton unleash hell on Metropolis in their attempt to capture Superman. It further shows Ben Affleck in the Batsuit saying that the world has changed since the Kryptonians arrived and further poses a query to Superman as to whether he is here to save or destroy Earth. The trailer fades out with the image of the "Batman v Superman" logo against a dark background with a voiceover that says, "I'm going to find out."

There has been massive speculation from both fans and industry experts with regard to what the content of the official trailer will reveal. The movie is expected to be the "next big thing" after the "Avengers" franchise. However, studio executives and the crew at Warner Bros. have been taking extreme measures to ensure that nothing about the plotline or characters of the movie are revealed to the public. What is known is that the Batsuit will be worn by Ben Affleck while Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman. Gal Godot will set the screen on fire as Wonder Woman while Amy Adams will return to the franchise as Lois Lane.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is scheduled for release on March 25, 2016. If the frenzy surrounding the leaked trailer is an indication of things to come, the movie sure has a lot to live up to.
