'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' trailer release in July?

 Warner Bros.

Fans are still lying in wait for the trailer of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." The film, which is the biggest DC movie adaptation Warner Bros. is currently working on, has been rather ungenerous of teasers or promos, and production is a massive secret.  Thus, the demand for a trailer just keeps on increasing.

Several leaks were made but the trailer is too quick to evaporate from the Web. Other attempts in bringing it to the surface again are all deemed futile. However, there are new insights on what the tightly-wrapped superhero flick's trailer will be all about.

While Superman (Henry Cavill) and Batman (Ben Affleck) serve as the stars of the movie, the trailer will reportedly allow fans to see Justice League members The Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman and Wonder Woman in action. After fans catch a glimpse of the heroes on the move, they will reportedly be seeing the city in the worse for wear, the way Superman left it in "Man of Steel." Seeing the city on its last legs, Batman questions Superman's true intent — to save the city or destroy it?

Putting a finger on the possible release date of the trailer, Game N' Guide said that the supposed December 2014 release was held off, possibly due to a fan-made trailer that came out.

If the studio is doing some rethinking, the San Diego Comic Con is the prospective event a trailer for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" might show up. This will let the film have the spotlight all to itself, especially since Marvel has no bombshell to drop during that time. If this comes to pass, then fans will get the first look of the hotly-anticipated film sometime in July.

If not, maybe Master Herald's inference of a May trailer release would do. The site says that the trailer might be shown when "Mad Max: Fury Road" hits theaters.

Whatever Warner Bros. plans, fans can only hope that a trailer for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is somewhere on the horizon. The stage for the ultimate clash of the Man of Steel and the Caped Crusader is set on March 25, 2016.
