'Batman vs Superman' movie trailer news: Clip showing three minor characters leaked

Director Zack Snyder's post that showed Jason Momoa's character Aquaman. Twitter

Some fans of Batman and Superman who are eagerly waiting for news about the upcoming 2016 film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" were reportedly able to check out another alleged trailer of the film, which was leaked online recently.

The clip, according to Comic Book Movie, is a bootleg version of the trailer for the upcoming DC film, which was leaked in content sharing site 4chan. Although it can longer be found, it reportedly featured more characters compared to the first rumored trailer that was leaked late last year.

The new trailer allegedly showed some of the characters in the movie aside from the three main ones, namely Superman (Henry Cavill), Batman (Ben Affleck), as well as Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot). These supporting characters include Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher).

Warner Bros. has not yet disclosed when the official trailer will be revealed, but since the film will be premiered on March 25, 2016, it is not expected to be seen anytime soon.

On the other hand, film director Zack Snyder shared the first look for Jason Momoa's character Aquaman in his Twitter account. In his Twitter post late in February, the director showed Momoa wearing his costume and make-up for his superhero character. But instead of the typical green and orange color that Aquaman has long been known for, Momoa's version is more subdued but bulkier than the comic book version.

The stellar cast of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" includes Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), and Jeremy Irons (Alfred).
