"Battlefield 1" fans are now rejoicing as the game's first major patch — called the Fall update — has just been released for all the gaming platforms. The reason behind the celebration is due to the fact that the update gives significant balance changes to some of the game's maps as well as its game modes.

According to Game Rant, "Battlefield 1" is already considered to be one of the most successful FPS games of 2016, which is saying a lot as it launched at the same time as other major shooters like "Titanfall 2" and "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." Its success is due to the fact that EA DICE is very observant when it comes to their fan base's behaviors through the game's multiplayer mode.

With this, the developer was able to give an analysis on the game's most pressing issues, enabling them to be prioritized in future patches.

The culmination of EA DICE's efforts to appease eager fans resulted in the release of the Fall update, which primarily focuses on both fixing bugs and re-balancing the game. Fans who are waiting for new content will not be disappointed, though, as there are some features added alongside it as a plus.

However, for those who are willing to spend more funds on exciting downloadable content (DLC), they will need to wait until March 2017.

Thankfully, EA DICE also plans to give some free DLC for the game, as well as features that will help players have a, improved gaming experience. Some of these include soldier customization capabilities from within the UI and the like.

Also, according to Game N Guide, the patch also fixed some of the issues with the game's audio as well as the bugs found within the game's campaign and the game's server itself.

Lastly, light machine guns were tweaked in such a way that their bullet suppression capabilities are increased at medium range while support machine guns had their aimed accuracy raised.
