Renowned game producer Joe Brammer has grown "beyond excited" about "Battlefield 5" after seeing a bit of the upcoming shooter. However, he is not very keen on spilling the beans on what the game has in store just yet.

Brammer said that he had the opportunity to see some "BF5 things," which seemed to have blown him away so much that he had to take it to Twitter to share his excitement, a move that he came to regret in a matter of minutes.

Legions of fans wanted to be in on the secret and to get Brammer talking, which caused his notifications on all his gadgets to burst. He was forced to take down the teasing "Battlefield 5" tweet and realized that hard way that he made a mistake of posting about the much-awaited game.

"Clearly a mistake on my part! A massive oversight on the desperation for squeezing information," Brammer replied to a fan who warned him not to tease such things especially if it involves something as highly demanded and well-hidden as "Battlefield 5."

While no new information about the new "Battlefield" game came out of the incident, it can be viewed as enough confirmation that the "Battlefield 5" production is well underway at the EA DICE base and that this early, it already looks good and promising.

Curiously, the fact that it was Brammer who tweeted about it hints "Battlefield 5" might indeed be set in a World War setting as what copious leaks and rumors have been suggesting. For the uninitiated, the game producer's strong suit happens to be the game in such landscape.

It could be that he is involved with the development of the new "Battlefield." Brammer is the executive producer of the multiplayer World War 2 shooter, "Battalion 1944," which is scheduled to release next year.

As for the "Battlefield 5" release date, rumor has it that it will be officially launched during the EA Play event on June 12.
