Good news for die-hard shooter game fans, particularly for the legions of players of the "Battlefield Hardline" title – the game can soon be played for free as it becomes available via EA Access.

According to IBTimes, the first-person tactical shooter will make its way to the EA Access list on Oct. 14 and will be available for free for players who are currently subscribed and have memberships to EA Access.

The EA Access Vault is where subscribed members can play games in the current list for free. Along with "Battlefield Hardline," EA Access members can also play other titles currently in the Vault like "Dragon Age: Inquisition," "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare," "FIFA 15," "Peggle 2," and another title from the "Battlefield" franchise, "Battlefield 4."

However, since Sony already has a members-only rewards program through the PlayStation Plus and the PlayStation Network, the EA Access Vault is only available for Xbox One players.

Xbox One gamers who want to experience the games in the EA Access Vault but are not current members can join the program for around $5 a month; there is also a $30 yearly subscription option.

Not only will EA Access get the players free full versions of game titles but also of their expansion packs. Earlier this year, The "Battlefield 4" list in the Vault also got an upgrade for players after EA seeded the free "Night Operations" DLC, which includes whole new game modes and a nightzone map.

Aside from free game titles that were listed on the Vault, EA Access members also get other perks from the program, such as up to 10 percent discounts on full EA game versions. In addition, subscribers to the EA Access can also get a chance to get an early sneak preview and trial run of upcoming Electronic Arts games, like the upcoming "Star Wars: Battlefront" and the new reboot for "Need for Speed."
