EA confirmed that Battlefield Hardline will be released at the E3 event as the trailer and gameplay leaked online.

A 7-minute gameplay video was posted online that excites many fans for its nearing release date. The gameplay hinted that multiplayer mode includes heist, rescue and blood money while the single player mode revolves on a story about police corruption and drug cartel.

Aside from the leaked trailer and gameplay of Battlefield Hardline, EA set up a webpage for the new game and announced that the title will be revealed on June 9 at 12:00 Pacific. The newly-put up webpage confirmed that the Battlefield storyline will include cops-and-robbers type of plot veering away from its usual military warfare stories.

The web page also confirmed that Visceral Games is developing the game and a leaked trailer proved that the Dead Space studio is in charge of the single-player with DICE taking up multiplayer duties.

To further prove the imminent arrival of the game, Visceral's VP Steve Papoutsis posted on EA's news post confirming that the studio is working on Battlefield Hardline. The post was deleted; however, tech websites were able to grab the post saying:

"On behalf of everyone at EA and Visceral Games, I'm fired up to confirm our next project – Battlefield Hardline. The game launches this fall and it's a brand new series in the Battlefield franchise, set against the backdrop of a genre we all love – the war on crime and the battle between cops and criminals."

Based on the image posted by EA on its website, it shows a SWAT truck and robbers fleeing a vault. Moreover, an unofficial Twitter account of the game Battlefield Daily tipped that the weapons to be used in the game are grappling hooks, a Hardline logo, and vehicles such as a police cruiser and SWAT truck.

However, fans are expected to know more about the game when it is revealed during EA's press conference next month.
