Gamers have from Feb. 3 to 8 to play their hearts out as the "Battlefield Hardline" open beta will allow them to plunge into the action-packed game before it even comes out. Electronic Arts and Visceral Games are giving players the chance to try out the upcoming first-person shooter video game, which has room for 64 players to engage in fast-paced action and track downs. 

"While it's just a taste of the whole game, we want you to come in, take your jacket off, stay awhile," Game executive producer Steve Papoutsis invited players in the game's official website. 

The first beta for the game was a bit of a frustration for "Battlefield" fans but in this case, the developers of the game are determined to turn things around. The beta is said to provide players an extensive look of the whole game so they can get an idea of what the items and missions look like in "Battlefield Hardline." 

Players will get to participate in the invigorating action crafted especially for the cops-and-robbers installment of the widely popular franchise from their Xbox and PlayStation consoles as well as their PCs through Electronic Arts' Origin service. The rudimentary version of the title will feature three maps namely Downtown, Dust Bowl and Bank Job. There will also be a trio of modes called Hotwire, Heist and Conquest, which is a five-flag capture race staged exclusively in the Dust Bowl map. 

Hotwire, on the other hand, will be nothing but a massive barrage of bullets as the mode allows 64 players to shoot each other during high-speed car chases. Crooks are tasked to whip a list of cars as they tackle the ardent police that strive to foil their mission. However, Digital Trends said that Xbox 360 and PS3 can only accommodate 24 players. Nevertheless, this looks to be the game's lone cap as unlocking classes, weapons and other contrivances will be on tap.

Heist will be set up in the Bank Job map, where felons embezzle hard cash and keep the loot away from the trailing cops and into designated drop-off locations. 

According to Venture Capital Post, "Battlefield Hardline" will put forward gameplay swings, which means that players can take on the military warfare scheme and utilize high-caliber armaments in the robbers and cops setting. In addition, players will soon to get to try Hacker, a cops-and-robbers offshoot on the second screen Commander Mode in "Battlefield 4". In this player vs. player setting, gamers are tasked to survey the showground, hack surveillance cameras, discover enemy locations and issue attack or defense orders. 

"Battlefield Hardline" will be released to all platforms in March 17 in the U.S., March 19 in Europe, and March 29 in the U.K.
