"Bayonetta" is one of the hit Nintendo exclusives that every Nintendo fan is looking out for. The two installments of the franchise are already nearing their debut on the Nintendo Switch, as both games are scheduled to arrive this February. But, for one final twist, "Bayonetta" released a five-minute long trailer that shows how it blends in with the Switch.

The hack-and-slash action-adventure game by Platinum Games and Sega will be brought back after almost a decade. Both "Bayonetta" games were released in 2009 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Sega also ported the game in April 2017 to the PC, and now, it will be making one more return to Nintendo's latest hit console.

The trailer shows an in-depth gameplay of the two "Bayonetta" games. As with the previous ones, it focuses on a "witch-like" character (named Bayonetta as well) who has numerous firearms to go along with her magical hair that can summon several demons.

Unfortunately for non-Japanese speakers, the trailer was released in Japanese. Still, there is a lot of information from the trailer alone. One of the many highlights was the introduction of several combinations that players can use. "Torture attack" was one of the highlights, and it shows a finishing move where Bayonetta will summon different gear to kill an enemy ruthlessly.

Other mechanics shown in the video include the capability to summon monsters, as well as the character's use of a variety of weapons such as guns, swords, and hammers. While all of this is not new to those who played "Bayonetta" years ago, the trailer gave a sneak-peek on how the Switch will bring a change to the game.

One of the biggest changes here is the potential use of the touch screen during combat. The "Amiibo," Nintendo's toy figures that have a scannable chip for added game content, will also be compatible to "Bayonetta." Scanning Amiibos will give players different costumes.

Lastly, the port to the Switch will allow players to battle demons in co-op mode. By wirelessly connecting two Switch consoles, a two-player mode scenario is possible. This aspect of the upcoming game fits perfectly with what the Switch does.

"Bayonetta" and "Bayonetta 2" for the Switch will arrive on Feb. 16.
