Beautiful Awakening for Stacie Orrico

|PIC1|Christian pop sensation Stacie Orrico will release her new album Beautiful Awakening, which will hit stores January 16, 2007.

Album producers include Dallas Austin, Dwayne Bastiany, KayGee and The Underdogs and writing duties are performed by notable songwriters like Shekspear, Track & Field, Anthony Dent, newcomer Novel and Orrico herself.

The first single, "I'm Not Missing You", originally went for radio ads on June 20th. The song had gone as high as #19 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles. The second single from the album is "So Simple", which was released in October 2006.

Orrico birthed from the GMA's (Gospel Music Association) Annual Music in the Rockies, which is the home of numerous Christian artists such as Michael W. Smith, Rachael Lampa, BarlowGirl, and Point of Grace.

Her self-titled album Stacie Orrico, which was released in 2003, charted in the US Billboard Top 200 (debuting at #67), Australian ARIAnet and the UK albums charts.

Her single, "(There's Gotta Be) More To Life", charted and went top 20 in Australia and the UK.

The album sold an estimated 3.4 million copies worldwide.
