"Beauty and the Beast" season 3 is set to start off quite peacefully now that Vincent and Cat can finally express their love publicly. According to the official synopsis for the next season, they'll be moving in and it is likely that Vincent will propose to Cat and everything will be quiet. However, it doesn't appear that things will stay that way for long. 

According to a report from the IBTimes, season 3 will showcase a new villain and that Cat will have a secret. She'll be working in tandem with a secret government agency that has been following cases concerning the supernatural. When Cat hears there's a new beast in town, she'll willingly work with them to catch it. However, Vincent won't know about it at first and when he does learn of it, tension builds up between him and Cat.

In an interview with TV Line, actress Kristin Kreuk explained that bringing Vincent along is part of their "destiny" — which is mostly concerned with catching these dangerous supernatural beasts for a living. 

"Everything is you know, butterflies and roses and it's perfect — except Catherine's been secretly communicating with the DHS about these potential other super-powered or beast-like creatures," Kruek stated. "She comes to believe that they have a greater destiny and a greater purpose, her and Vincent, and they have to go after these creatures." 

Of course, Vincent won't want anything to do with it and fans should expect some banter between the two lead characters as one tries to help out while the other wants to live a more peaceful life away from all the dangers of hunting and fighting other beasts. 

Fans speculate that Vincent will only get involved once Cat's life is endangered. He'll jump in to save her life but is this event also going to prove his point? 

"Beauty and the Beast" season 3 premieres this June 11.
