'Beauty and the Beast' season 3 spoilers: JT in danger, Vincent and Cat to meet a couple just like them in episodes 2, 3

This week's episode of "Beauty and the Beast" may bring terror to some of the major characters of the show.

In episode 2 titled "Primal Fear," someone might pay a high prize in order to find a miracle cure for the superhuman experiments. The video trailer for the episode shows new villain Alton Finn (Zach Appelman) terrorizing JT (Austin Basis). In one of the scenes, Alton is shown choking JT and telling him that he wants to stay alive, even if it means that JT has to die. This probably stems from the possible cure that saved JT from death back in season 2.

Because of Alton's threats, Vincent (Jay Ryan) has to transform into his beast mode to save his friend. He also tells Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) that going back to his primal persona is the only way to prevent Alton from hurting JT.

Meanwhile, Ryan talked with TV Line about the appearance of Professional Homeland Security Agents Carol (Natasha Henstridge) and Bob (Alan Van Sprang) in the third episode titled "Bob & Carol, Vin & Cat." Carol and Bob are married, and their relationship somewhat mirrors the kind of relationship that Catherine and Vincent have.

Ryan mentioned that having Henstridge and Van Sprang in the show was a welcome change.

"They were awesome to have come onto our show; they really brought a fun, kickass dynamic. It's one of my favorite episodes of Season 3. They're almost like a version of Vincent and Catherine in five to 10 years time," the actor stated.

Ryan also said that one of his favorite episodes this season is actually with Henstridge, wherein an awesome stunt inspired by "The Matrix" was shot. The actor said that episode 3 is something to look forward to this season.

"Beauty and the Beast" season 3 airs Thursdays on The CW.
