Vincent's (Jay Ryan) wedding plans may have to wait. The CW

Will Vincent and Cat be able to start living the normal life that they have always longed for when "Beauty and the Beast" season 3 premieres this week?

In the first episode of season 3, Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Cat (Kristin Kreuk) finally decides to take the big leap in their relationship by moving in together. For a while, their new set-up runs smoothly, until Cat gets involved in an unusual case with the FBI wherein the suspect reportedly forces his victims to take a drug that could transform them into superhumans.

In a recent interview, Ryan said that his character Vincent is already in a happy place, and he feels that he is back to being an ordinary guy. But he is not sure if it will remain that way for the rest of the new season.

"In the end of season 2, we introduced these kind of mysterious agents. These guys come with a price tag, I guess, and that is pulling Vincent and Catherine back into this game. He's going to, at some point, have to lift the lid and let that beast out. He doesn't know if he can control it or bring it back," the actor said.

Vincent is very determined to keep their new relationship set-up since it's the first time that they are finally going to give their love a chance, especially since the Muirfield organization is now out of the picture. But he is going to be forced to get involved with Cat's case after she suffers from an injury.

But helping Cat means Vincent has to go back to his beast form, which is something he wants to avoid since he is still unsure if he can control it again. This could mean that Vincent will have to postpone his plans to propose to Cat because of the impending danger that they have to face.

The premiere episode of "Beauty and the Beast" season 3 titled "Beast of Wallstreet" airs Thursday, June 11, on The CW.
