In light of fans speculating that Bella Hadid and Selena Gomez are at war because of their respective pasts with The Weeknd, supermodel Hadid made the first step and showed the public that she and Gomez have no beef with each other.

Hadid, who just graced the runway for the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Shanghai, China, recently liked an Instagram post of IMG Models showing the "Wolves" singer, Gomez. The image in question saw singer with her new platinum blonde hairdo that she first sported during the 2017 American Music Awards (AMAs) on Nov. 19, Sunday.

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that the 21-year-old model had taken her time to like the photo, which many said was a sign of Hadid's plan to mend fences with Gomez. The post contained the caption, "Blonde [bomb] @selenagomez goes atomic in @stuartvevers' latest @coach creation for last night's #AMAs. #IMGstars."

Many have pointed out that unlike Justin Beiber's like, which disappeared quickly, Hadid's seal of approval remains on the Instagram photo. As previously reported, rumored couple Gomez and Bieber have been seen together in various events. They were even photographed even kissing at one of the "Despacito" singer's hockey games.

Although no actual spat happened between Hadid and Gomez, it was speculated that the two were at odds following the singer's break up with The Weeknd, who is also the model's ex. After Bieber and Gomez started getting cozy again in the wake of the "Fetish" singer's recovery from her kidney surgery, the "Starboy" singer was reportedly seen leaving Hadid's apartment, sparking rumors that he was getting back at Gomez.
