Earlier this month, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner reunited as they attended the funeral of their mutual friend, Sean Whitesall on Saturday, Jan. 2.

In pictures posted on the Daily Mail, Garner was dressed in a black dress, cardigan and heels, while Affleck was also somberly attired in a black suit as they walked to the cemetery together. According to the website, the two walked side by side and looked strained as Garner crossed her arms while walking.

Though the two reportedly spent the Christmas holidays together with their children, their joint appearances have been rare, despite reports claiming that the two are still living in the same property in Los Angeles. Last year, it was reported that the "Alias" star was staying in the main house of their L.A. home, while the "Batman v Superman" star stayed in the guest house.

The following day, the Daily Mail reported that Garner looked a lot more cheerful as she stepped out for coffee with a friend in Santa Monica. The 43-year-old was casually dressed in a black shirt and blue jeans for the outing, and in pictures on the website, the mother of three is seen smiling as she chatted with her friend.

Last summer, Garner and Affleck announced that they were divorcing after 10 years of marriage. It was reported that Affleck's drinking and gambling habits drove a wedge in their union, and there were claims that he cheated on Garner with their former nanny, Christine Ouzounian. Affleck has denied the rumors.

At last Sunday's Golden Globe Awards, host Ricky Gervais took a shot at Affleck while introducing the "Argo" actor's good friend, Matt Damon. In his introduction, Gervais said that Damon was "the only person Ben Affleck hasn't been unfaithful to," which got several whoops from the crowd. While waiting for the noise to die down, Damon grinned before sighing and shaking his head at what the British comedian said.
