A year after the couple announced their split last June 2015, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are taking no actions to file for divorce. A source tells ET that neither of the two filed any paperwork for divorce and were unsure if that will ever happen.

They are reported to be genial towards each other and said to be trying to make the marriage work. A picture of them was taken where they were together as a family with their kids. Ben Affleck is said to be staying in a guest house of their property and is still within the vicinity of the household.

It is apparent in the course of things that the couple is striving to try again for their kids and possibly for their relationship with each other.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Jennifer Garner said that she chose to stay unconnected with the media. She stated, "Ben says, 'Oh, you just don't care,' and I say, 'No, it's the opposite.' It hurts me so much, and I care so much. I cannot be driven by the optics of this. I cannot let anger or hurt be my engine. I need to move with the big picture always on my mind, and the kids first and foremost."

With regards to her feelings to Ben Affleck, Jennifer said," He's the love of my life. What am I going to do about that? I always say, 'When his sun shines on you, you feel it.' But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it's cold."

Aside from working on her marriage, Jennifer has been busy lately with her recent hit movie Miracles from Heaven, which went down well with Christian audiences and even saw Jennifer rekindle her own Christian faith.
