Bethenny Frankel news: RHONY star starts 2018 strong; Frankel's new Bravo series to air soon

"The Real Housewives of New York" star Bethenny Frankel welcomed 2018 with a group of strong women. Frankel said she is ready for anything 2018 throws at her and that she, along with her friends, is taking over.

Frankel partied 2017 away with other celebrities like Paris Hilton, Kyle Richards, and Rita Ora. The 47-year-old television icon also had the company of women's advocate and environmentalist Faye Resnick. Frankel posted photos of her and her friends celebrating NYE on Instagram with the caption, "Entering 2018 with a BOOM! I spent New Year's Eve with a group of strong, beautiful women... and we're taking over."

Many of her fans quickly commended Frankel for her statement. Some of her followers recognized her as one of the strongest women they know. One fan even commented, "Bethenny for President!"

Frankel is known for her extensive skills in the field of renovation and design for residential properties. Frankel's knowledge with renovation and home design landed her another job at the cable network Bravo. Frankel will star in Bravo's upcoming reality television series "Bethenny and Fredrik."

Frankel will star alongside Bravo star and real estate broker Fredrik Eklund on the show. Bravo released the first-look trailer for the series, but the premiere date is yet to be announced.

Many of her fans from RHONY are waiting for the pilot episode of her new show. Speaking of RHONY, Frankel recently revealed the amount of money she made during the first season of "The Real Housewives of New York." Frankel told People, "I made $7,250 for the entire season." Frankel also showed the Marc Jacos dress she wore during the first "The Real Housewives of New York's" premiere party. "I couldn't afford it. I mean I got a discount, but this is Marc Jacobs, I cannot get rid of it," she shared.
