Last week, "Better Call Saul" season 2 finally returned to television, putting Jimmy McGill one step closer to his sinister doom. This week, a new episode titled "Cobbler" will continue to cement malevolence into the lawyer's being.

Jimmy will be busy dealing with a client that the synopsis describes as "eccentric." The lawyer, who has steadily been growing out of his nice guy shell, will try to get him acquitted by the court and fans could easily imagine the future Saul Goodman cunning his client's way out of this.

However, Jimmy is still trying to work as legitimately as he can. As fans saw in the "Better Call Saul" season 2 episode 1 titled "Switch," Jimmy still chose to work for Davis & Main, which could actually give him the life he wanted sans the criminal schemes.

This also meant that he is still under Hamlin, Hamlin & McGill – a law firm where his estranged brother Chuck serves as a founder. In an exclusive "Better Call Saul" sneak peek, the brothers at odds crossed paths.

Jimmy asks Chuck why he is in his workplace, to which his brother answers sarcastically, "My name is on the building." After Howard showed his excitement to have Chuck in attendance, Jimmy asks his brother the same question.

This time, he is asking for the real answer. Judging from Jimmy's anxious face that fans will surely notice in the "Better Call Saul" season 2 episode clip, he does not want any more mocking response.

Chuck flashed a small, untrue smile to Jimmy, who only looked distressed the whole time. The older McGill then gives his little bro a straight answer – "To bear witness," he said. The intense and discomfited reunion ended with Chuck's phone ringing.

If this is going to be the situation in Jimmy's new office, it won't be so hard for him to quit the job. From being given an eccentric client to deal with to putting up with a traitor in his bloodline, Jimmy's path to evil is being prepared before him.

Meanwhile, Mike negotiates a deal that will help him "keep a potentially messy situation intact." Ed Begley Jr. is back as Clifford Main complete with a guitar to sing with.

"Better Call Saul" season 2 episode 2 "Cobbler" airs Feb. 22 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC. Watch a livestream of the episode via AMC.com.
